LIZ SMITH
Peter Ackerman's hysterically funny "Things You Shouldn't Say Past Midnight" is billed as "A Comedy in Three Beds." And so it is. The 90-minute one-acter at the Promenade Theatre is perfectly performed by Erin Dilly, Jeffrey Donovan, Clea Lewis, Nicholas Kepros, Mark Kassen and newcomer Andrew Benator. John Rando's direction of this truly urbane comedy is so smooth and efficient, you don't miss a joke even though you're laughing out lout. I had the best time, and so did everyone around me. Rando recently directed both "Strike Up the Band" and "Do Re Mi" at City Center Encores!"
